Somehow I don't see armies getting sold like gizmos in EQ.
"You bought a magic item with real money ?!"
I didn't believe it either until he showed me the bill.

Theseus: Those are irrigation tiles (with non-standard graphics).
And yes, that is a lot of armies. Have you considered rushing other stuff, like temples or airports, with your leaders?

Is that possible? It's really too bad that you can't have more than one GL at a time, it would be nice to be able to keep them in reserve as leaders and use them as circumstances require.
Selling an Army… How mercenary!

You could sell some of them to me...
In the game I started to play last night, I choose the Aztecs because I wanted some quick and kicking-butt fun at the beginning, but I ended up alone in a big continent and could not find anyone till 1060 AD. I never fought so many barbarians in my whole civ life... but those battles will never generate GLs.
But now I managed to make contact with the French... isolated in an island south of my continent, they will be an easy prey for my soldiers. I smell some GLs coming...

Too many army shells? Rush some improvements by disbanding the armies, worth 100 shields each! (JUST KIDDING!!!)
