well, this is the second Civ2 DG, the Index (a topped thread trying to imitate the Great Library) is a good place to start learning about the game, although it is sadly becoming more and more out of date in terms of history and the record of who has served in the cabinet. And I see you 've already added the civ2 DG civgroup to your profile, so teh next step is posting your worthless opinion and getting +1 for it as -JRabbit would say

Re: Discussion on the index
why is there so much empty space in the index? takes marginally longer to scroll through it than it otherwise would.

for reference purposes, some designer's notes on the flag of old (iirc i haven't mentioned my reasoning behind the design). taking the EU flag as a basis as i liked the colors and the stars, i inserted the "A" and fiddled with the stars. i left 9 stars on the flag to designate the 9 major subsections (Civ3, MOO, Civ2, CtP2, SMAC, CtP, Hosted Sites, Alt Civ/Other Games, and Miscellaneous) of the Apolyton forums (BHG was a subforum in the alt civ/other games forum at the time).

Calling out CannonFodder
CannonFodder!
Where are you? You've done nothing but heap insults on the index since I started it. Where are you? I want some answers! If the index is wrong tell me where. I'm sick of seeing you bad mouth it and then hedge when I ask you what part is wrong. It's time to put up or shut up

I have been seriously AFK recently (school starting up again), and havent been on the boards for quite a while. Since you seem to have challenged me, I will see what I can cook up this weekend when I have some time.

Any chance of adding specific screen shots to individual ministers responsibilities?
It seems difficult for a citizen to picture some of the details we are working on, and the more screen shots available the better.
For instance, the City Planner could post individual city screen shots (all of them early in the game, and whatever city is going through a significant change later in the game). As well the City Status, and perhaps the Attitude advisor screen for the City Planner would be most helpful in my opinion.
If each position had specific screens to post every time it would be easier for all I think. That way the President could post the ones on his list, leaving the others for the threads of the individual ministers.
Just a thought,
Sparrowhawk
Citizen
