Why can't I change my avatar?
Every time I try to change my avatar, the control panel won't let me submit my modifications. What the dilly, yo?

You are somewhat short of the 500 posts needed for a custom avatar.
EDIT: If you are trying to chose a standard avatar available to all, I'm not sure what the problem is there.

What does it say when you try to change your avatar?

It doesn't say anything. The problem is that I select my new avatar, click the Submit Modifications button and then nothing happens. It's like the button doesn't work or something...

Ok, that happens to me too. Hmmm. There is probably a problem in the code somewhere.

Is it your fault?
(I haven't quite got bored of this joke yet, but I'm getting there. )

Still gets a chuckle from me.
Either there is a missing radio button in the "select a standard avatar" section, or the page-number "go" button is causing the real submit button to not work. After looking at the code, thats the best I could come up with. My brain has decided to shut down.

I still remember that one.

I can't either, and the ming dancer is ready to go.

Ahh, so even custom avatars can't be changed any more. That implies that the new "go to a different page" code, or perhaps just the 'go' button has caused problems. I have nothing better to do at the moment (actually, plenty of things I really should be doing, but this is interesting), so I'll attempt to find the problem.

Done. The problem is the form within the form. Delete the form used to navigate the standard avatars, and the rest of the page works perfectly.

Hopefully the problem could be fixed soon as I can't use my new avatar now as I can't upload it.

I've pmed Markos with a potential solution, so hopefully when he has time he can work on fixing this.

I was testing for the problem before, and once I got it working I was able to change avatars as usual. However, the trick used to do this is similar to the trick used to change a certain flag location to something humorous ( which got me a ten-day ban ), so I don't think I'll be sharing that secret anytime soon.

Apparently you can still change your avatar using Opera, and perhaps some other browsers.
Internet Explorer definately does not work.

Yet more proof that Opera (and possibly Mozzie) are far superior browsers in comparison to Internet Exploder.

I thought y'all were just whinging, but I can't change either.... not that I want to right now, but give me a week and I'm sure I'll find another Vegeta pic I like more than the moody one I have now.
Are there any Mods on the case?

Isn't Opera like the internet browser equivalent of store-brand corn at the supermarket?
