City Council: Department of Silly Names
Hi, chaps! Welcome to the DSN.
This is a new council dept. who derived from a silly debate about
some silly issues on naming and so forth...
Here you can suggest and discuss citynames and other
names we should use in the game.
There has been some debate already,
but here you can tell us whats right!
Or what's silly and what's not.
Feel free to say whatever comes to your mind regarding sillyness and please suggest all kinds of names. Silly or not.

I just saw "The Great Dictator" again in cinema yesterday- if you saw it you know it's full of silly funny names of states and leaders-
Tomania (for germany)
Bacteria (Italy)
Austerlich (Austria)
Hynkel (Hitler)
Napoloni (Mussolini)
what do you think of these?

A literary/comedy theme:
Pianosa (location of Catch-22, suggest for an island)
Puckoon (village in Spike Milligan novel)
Hackenbush (one of Groucho Marx's characters)
Any simpsons-related name: Springfield, Shelbyville, Homeropolis, Moe's Tavern, Apoo's Emporium

I hereby register a protest that 'notthereeither' is not yet the proud name of one of our burgs. Or is it?

Forget silly names or egotisical governement members. Why can't we just name the city by looking at it geographical features? Port Rogue comes to mind. This is undoutedly one of the best names in our Empire! Unfortunately, City On A Hill also comes to mind. While being named after its geographical location, no other thought went into it. Geofront also comes to mind as a good example of geographical naming. It is on the edge of a vast GEOlogical FRONT. A large mountian range. If I were to blessed with the honor of naming a city , I would name it based on its surrounding. Lets give this a try (I mean geo-naming, not me specificly).

Reddington is a straight name,
and Dawgtown is silly name...
That's mainly my own sillyness analysis.
Hey, american... Iraqi flag looks scary?

MrWhereItsAt: My essays? I haven't written an essay yet on it. I only have a collection of unsorted theories. Are you sure you didn't read Kass' (Antti Helin - not a Texan name) essays. If you did...why? It is full of spoilers. You can read his first one after you finish watching the series (though there are errors). I would say Kass is more into Eva than I am. It is kinda weird. He is the first person I talked to after watching the series.
Angel names (copied from Kass' site so there could be misspellings) that could be cities:
Sachiel
Samshel
Ramiel
Gaghiel
Israfel
Sandalphon
Matarael
Sahaquiel
Ireul
Leliel
Bardiel
Zeruel
Arael (I'd actually feel very uncomfortable with this name...seriously)
Armisael
Tabris
Of course I left out the first two.
donegeal: GeoFront was based on Evangelion It was just random that it was that particular city that I got to name. Any site I would have named would be GeoFront.

More on GeoFront (from Kass' site).
'The GeoFront is told to be a large cavity in the ground that was "already here when we got in" (not word by word). This means that the large, no, immensive cave, which seems to defy even the engineering skills of the year 2015, was already there, underground, under Japan, the area of Tokyo-3, the new capital city. What or who created it? Does the First Impact or the Second Impact have something to do with this?'
I really like Kass. My new avatar (coming as soon as I download Opera so I can switch avatars) will be courtesy of him.
