When was Civ3 released?
I can't remember the date. Was it around November 1st? Or December 1st?

i was planning on buying it, then found out it was TBS, and it put me off, i got Empire Earth instead (EE sucks by the way!) and joined a clan, got friendly with one of the clan mates and i speak to him on AOL AIM now, he got it a while ago, and he would give me a running comentary on how miss leading it is to think your kicking the **** out of two civs, then when it comes their turn 50% of your citys disapear. I decided to get it, so i was pritty much back to stage one! I got it and here i am! Joined this forum about 1 week before i got civ3.

Got it the first day it came out, played it for a couple months, got bored a bit, came back to it a month before 1.29f, came here, and have been around since.

I remember getting the pre-order CD. Oh how we all pined for every little glimpse of CivIII that fall!
I really hope PTW is worth it. Otherwise, I am literally going to melt my CivIII disc.
