Hello!
Hello folks,
I am settled in Chicago, Illinois and I have a brand new P.C. with a DSL connection, in fact I am selling computers and other electronics for a living now. My work keeps me very busy but I have a small amount of CIV II stuff to post from the last two months that I had no internet connection. I'm gonna update my Website, too.
Question: Do I need any patch to run Civ II with Windows XP?
Question #2: Civ III will STILL not run on my brand new P.C.!
I loads and then crashes and locks my system. Any suggestions?
I have a lot of forum stuff to catch up on.

Question I: Not. I run Civ II on Windows XP without problem.
Question II: Civ II have problems with Windows XP and some graphics drivers. I suggest you to download Civ 3 1.29f pacth and the lastet graphics driver you can find for your graphic board.

Choice.com
If you want to play Scenarios that use Batch files, you'll need to add "Choice.com" to your Windows System32 subdirectory. Go to my Web Site and follow the directions in Item 3 of the news flash from 9/7:

Going OT now...
Harlem and Grand? Isn't that Elmwood Park? I was driving a truck through there over the summer as part of my summer job. There's a little print shop called Elmood Park Press that one circle street, wasn't it called 71st street or something?
And right on Grand next to the Ace Hardware is another print shop.
Did they ever finish the construction on Harlem and Lawrence?

Welcome back Jacobite! Thought I'd let you know there's a couple of PBEM slots open for you if you're interested.

GREAT. I have to get a few more things in order, then I'm with you.
I don't even have MGE on my new P.C. yet.
