What is meaning of poster labels?

Saw the answer once, but can't find now.

What do the labels for poster mean?
Is
-- settler
-- warlord
-- prince
-- king

only a key to the number of times a member has posted, or is there some other criteria?

They are based on how many times you have posted only. I think that posts in all forums except Off-Topic add to your post count.
