What is respawning AI option?
I recently patched my game and now I have this Respawn AI feature which I can turn on or off. I want to know what it does?

If an AI civ gets completely eliminated early enough in the game and there is a reasonable piece of uncontrolled land available, it may or may not - depending on how you set this option - "respawn" (reappear) with a new capital and a couple of units...

respawning is so pointless...those civs have no chance...

I like to toggle that option on. It's interesting to imagine that the few remnants of a decaying civ would venture forth over the harsh seas only to find a spot where they can not only survive, but also try to rebuild the glory of their culture once again... Until I smash them for good.
