Official: Tech #14
in the recent turnthread, we cashed in a AA for a tech: Doctrine: Loyalty. we also go ind auto and we're currently working on gene splicing. that means it's tech poll time!
Your choices for this week's techpoll are: - Docrtine: Flexibility - Foil (M4) Troop Transport, Pressure Dome. Leads to: Doctrine Initiative, Doctrine: Air Power
- Intellectual Integrity - High Morale, Non-Leathal Methods
Leads to: Planetary Economics, Cyberethics
- Ecological Engineering - MINERAL RESTRICTIONS LIFTED
Leads to: Centauri Meditation, Environmental Economics
- Polymorphic Software - Heavy Artillery.
Leads to: Advanced Subatomic Theory, Optical Computers
- Secrets of the Human Brain - Hypnotic Trance, FUNDAMENTALIST
Leads to: Neural Grafting, Centauri Empathy.
- High Energy Chemistry - Plasma Steel (D3) Nerve Gas Pods.
Leads to: Advanced Subatomic Theory, Synthetic Fossil Fuels.
- Nonlinear Mathematics - Particle Impactor (A4).
Leads to: Superstring Theory
Research Progress:
Morgan's Research Progress
as you can see, we'll be (hopefully) getting gene splicing from morgan soon, so we can go on to get something else, likely during the next chat
Tech List
Please vote for TWO techs. not one, not three, not all of them, TWO.

EcoEng (for EnvEco) and HEC (for D:AP).
But if we get EcoEng and have the option to go EnvEco, I would choose that instead of HEC.

Doctrine: Flexibility for sea colony pods and pod-hunting transport foils ASAP. Intellectual Integrity for the Citizen's Defense Force and to counteract irrational ideas about loyalty some of our younger researchers have adopted from the transmissions of an alien artifact.

EcoEng as first choice - mineral restrictions lifted, as well as leads towards Tree Farms.
IntInteg second, as it gets us towards those lovely Planetary Datalinks and Knowledge...

EcoEng ASAP to make it worthwhile to get our formers building mines and boreholes.
DocFlex as a second choice so we can 1) find neighbors, 2) pop more pods, and 3) start terraforming the sea - the sooner we plant some kelp, the sooner it starts spreading!
