I'm with you! I've actually modded my Civ III to show the British spellings of names, like "Aquaeduct" and "Modern Armour." Nothing bugs me more than Americanised spellings ...
... but hey, it's an American game
PS: I'm not trying to take the piss out of any Americans, just a matter of personal preference
