The Golden Age of our Civilization
I am pleased to report to the people of Apolytonia that this, truely, is our Golden Age!
Our current income (at 100% income) is 552gpt! If we adjust this to 50% Sci/ 50% Tax we will be at 231gpt and Democracy in 10 turns.
We receive 157gpt from foreign civs and pay them only 7gpt for a net gain of 150gpt!
Our NATION is in a prolonged state of We Love The King Day as our cities receive an unfathomable 7 luxuries. Our nation owns 4 luxuries and we import the other 3 from the Lost Civs.
We posess every known technology in the world and are now an par with the best of the scientific civs out there. We can compete with them and research at an equal or greater level. We aquired Military Tradition in 800AD!
Our Forbidden Palace will be complete in 12 turns, curing our nation from the ungodly corruption that has plagued it and turning Old Persia into a production powerhouse.
Our Military is the strongest in the world as we now field Cavalry which are tearing apart the pathetic Pikemen of the French. A Great Leader may emerge any battle to provide us with Adam Smith's Trading Company.
We now have contact with all of the nations of the world and we stand above them all. We are the most powerful nation in the world, Japan is second followed by Greece, India, and Rome.
There's nothing more that I can say other than open the save and marvel in the unpredicented success that is our nation in an Emperer level game with a jungle start.
Raise a glass and celebrate, people. We've earned it.

I began looking in about 600BC, just after the first American War and when I saw all that jungle I didn't give much you hope for a sucsessful game. However..
I have learnt a lot (invade early and tech/map whore  ) and its been fun to listen in on. It also shows the advantage of stopping every 6 or so turns and having several dozen peolple scrutinize the results.
