Santa Cruz sound card issues

From the PTW Readme:

"NOTE: TBS Santa Cruz sound cards can cause some compatibility problems with Play the World."

I don't have PTW yet to test myself so does anyone out there with a Santa Cruz know what kinds of compatibility problems this refers to? Is anyone experiencing any problems?
