*sniff* a poor MAC user...
I went to the QS/IG MOO3 site, saw they had a link to Amazon to pre-order.

It is one of the prices you pay for selecting Mac, games for the PC are an after thought for MAC. The price and reduced selections are the others. The advantages offset that for some, for other it does not. Maybe the price will be reduce by then.

It's not always true that PC ported games are an after thought. MOO3 isn't. Usually, if the game is good, we get it. If the game sucks, well it sucked. But when you are looking forward to a game (like MOO), that's when you get jealous of PCers.
The price never goes down.
As to the color, not my bad boy. The real Mac machines are sleak grey monsters. For a freelancer, the Mac is tops for design/illustration/writing.
But if I want Civ3:PTW... *sniff*...

Civ3? But I thought you said you didn't get the games if they sucked?

I would take the Jan 15 date with a grain of salt. Some places posted Jan 1 as the release. And others don't list it at all.
I think the stores have no idea when they will get it and are guessing.
QS is developing the game on Mac and PC simultaneously. So a near-simultaneous release is possible. Plus, Infogames ownes MacSoft.
I'm not sure why they would need an extra month and a half. I bet we have it within a week of the PC users.
