SDC #4 Submissions Due Tomorrow
People, you have six hours left to whip up a submission and send it to [mail]arcticor@aol.com[/mail], care of WarVoid the Great. Six hours; no more; no less.
I think I know what DarthVeda will be doing tonight.

And, a CORRECTION.
Do NOT send your submission to arcticor. I can't get to that e-mail anymore because I have a new computer, ISP et all.
E-mail warvoid@aol.com
And I already have DV's scen.
Only two received so far. I WANT MORE SCN'S PEOPLE!!

I'm thinking of extending the deadline another week for people to finish things up.

Prom, relax. I also sent my submission to arcticor. Of course, WarVoid might decide to reject yours in order to reject mine.
Nah.
He'll just reject mine.:P

The status is that i've only recieved three scens out of 11 registered authors. I'm also still awaiting Prommy's scen.
I will close submissions on this Friday (15th). I can't expect to extend the deadline much further than that. It would'nt be fair to those who rushed to meet the original deadline.

May I make a suggestion.
Rather than have the judges play PBEMs round robbin style as suggested earlier, why not just arrange to have live multi-player games? That will be much faster than waiting another 6 months to see the results.

Might not work for all the scenarios, depends on how much units there are (a 7 player á 100 moving units mulitplayer game will be a problem while a pbem with that many units won't be affected at all).
Oh and warvoid I allready told you in that other thread that I won't be sending in an entry (though I have a scenario underway it's nowhere near ready and only half suitable for this contest subject...)
So make that out of 10 authors

Case's post applies to me too. I was forced to choose between a future as a successful member of society or winning this SDC.
Perhaps the prize for the SDC should've been a diploma or $50,000 or a pet of some sort

Ok, submissions are now closed.
I got Prommy's scen too.
And i'm working on ideas for a prize. Tho I dunno what it'll be. Probably something simple, since anything else (like money) would be impossible....

Out of curiousity, how will the scenarios be tested and by whom?

The scenarios are being judged by one or two judges. The results will become available in January along with the opportunity to vote in some kind of a People's Choice award.
