Actually THIS is Mingapulco.
Parental Advisory - one of the pop-ups offers Gator - Do not download - its spyware. Also watch out for the adult pop-ups.
Grateful if Ming/Markos could advise whether I should remove the link because of the pop-ups
EDIT: Overdid the size of the warning.

On a related note (to Mingapulco in PTW, not to Taz's rants):
TF has one of the Scandinavian cities named after him. It's nice to see Firaxis giving nods to the community in this way.

On-topic...
I just heard too from Chieftess on IRC about Mingapulco in PtW. It sure looks hilarious, even if I haven't played PtW yet.

It is not on the Aztec city list, though. I stumbled across it while playing the Aztecs.

And to think we knew him back when he was just a humble PolyMod...
er, ...just a humble ad man...
er, ...just a humble Civ2 geek...
er, ...just a humble scifi conventioneer...
er, ...just a humble Diplomacy player...
er, ...just a humble D&D master...
er, ...just a humble pinball wizard...
Ahh, forget it. Never was humble, never will be.
Congrats, buddy.

hi ,
Mingapulco , brrrrrr , what a scary place , snakes crawl everywhere , no to mention all the spiders , the beaches are actually filled with landmines , boobytraps are everywhere in the jungle , and those monkies who never seem to stop with their screams , you cant swim in the rivers , they are invested with crocs , ....
when it rains its cold , and man can it rain , .......
the days are hot and humid , ........
brrrrrr
there is one exception , the allmighty great Ming has a beautiful mansion with airco , the perimeter is patrolled 24.24 /7.7 by the most fearsome dogs , .....
if you survive all of that , and succeed in the letting out exam , well then you can leave , otherwise , ...........
have a nice Mingapulco day

It'd be fun to see Thunderfall play against Ming in MP.
And if Thunderfall & Mingapulco were border cities...

I'm sure that those currently vacationing are absolutely thrilled by this thread. I'm sure Mings little hidy-hole is wonderful - otherwise posters wouldn't be so keen on making it their semi-permanant home!
