Our Next WoW
This poll allows only one choice. What should our next wonder be?
Only two days! by decree of the Science Ministry.

King Ritchie - boost our production so that other WoW's are easier to build.
At the moment, for which of these Wonders are we in competition with other Civ's? That can have significant bearing on what to build now (i.e., build Newton's now before, say, the Carths get it, and go to others later with less pressure).

Personally, I like Newton's, but if our trade routes are productive, we can concentrate on getting our science that way while aiming at Darwin's

As Science Minister, I must concur.
Unlike our Presidential election, the ppl have spoken with a clear voice on this matter. Our next WoW target will be Darwin's Voyage. It will take us awhile to get there (4 techs needed), but that should give us time to build our infrastructure and trade base while preparing.
The Ministry will suggest a tech path to get us there in it's report to the Prez.

What about techs that aren't on the Wonder path we are following ? If we follow the techs that only lead to the next Wonder, aren't we missing some otherwise important techs? Explosives for Engineers, Democracy for higher production, etc...
Darwin's is a ways ahead of us, and Magellan's is on that path anyway. Does this mean we won't pick up Magellan's when it becomes available to us? I'm

Didn't know that when I voted (it was, after all, a choice).
Still have a question regarding what to do about Darwin - is it hotly contested construction or could we wait for an intermediate (like Magellan)? The longer we wait, the more beakers each tech costs - and therefore the greater the shields-to-beakers benefit of constructing Darwin . . .
But I'd hate like he!! to lose out on it.

ORACLE
We don't need to waste time researching Theology
and building the worthless Bach's Cathedral.
If we don't do it soon, someone else will build Oracle.
