Cool. I spent all of 5 minutes making up some bitmaps that are, well, lets just say they need to be refined. I was thinking more along the line of geometric instead of objects...

I've worked on the Spanish icon.
It represents now a conquistador helmet (a bit greater) on a conquerred pyramid of the new world.

They don't, but the conquerred lands had (Aztecs, Mayas).
The icon symbolizes the power over this new world.
I think that if we were the Spanish, our icon should clearly suggest our conquests goals
