No, I do remember the CivII senario but that isn't what I am talking about.
I remember on the APolyton Civ III section their being a flame thrower unit for use in a PTW WWII senario, picture ant all.
It may have simply been someone's mod bieng hyped but I could have sworn it was for PTW, too lazy t look at the news archive .

You are right, I think... there were supposed to be WWII and Medieval Japan scenarios.

It came with a few maps you could have downloaded from the internat for months, and a few terrain sets. Not senarios persay, which pisses me off because I was looking forward to the WWII senario.

Stinger, software companies don't "deliberately lie." They "carefully produce consumer excitedness."
I think I did remember talk about a Medieval Japan and WWII scen but I can't remember if it was for PtW or what or if I'm just on something. Regardless, I got PtW for the new civs and multiplayer, so I don't really care if there's scenarios included or not.

I don't think there was ever an indication of a WWI or Japan scenario -- as I recall, it was always "new unit sets" that would enable people to make scenarios. I haven;t played with them yet, but I understand that the unit sets are on PTW.

You cant even make proper scenarios without a scripting ability, so whats the point?

Yes the unit set are in PTW, but thats it. Firaxis never said that PTW would come with a WW2, Dinosaur, or Mediveal Japan scenarios. BTW, I like you sig Destroyer.

I love the new units.
Especially the new tanks. The T34 animation is so clean it makes me happy. Gotta find a good use for all those animations...

I always liked that Civ2 WW2 scenerio....it always seems to me that Civ2 had alot more to offer in terms of scenerio's, much more so than Civ3.
sorry if this is off topic.

I didn't really like the Civ 2 WWII scenario much. There were a few I loved (like the Napoleon one), but others like the WWI-WWII-Civil War ones that made me want to scream. I mean, those tanks don't even resemble Panzers!
