2194 Gigamap Version 0.6 Test
OK guys, I would still like to finish out our other games, because I think they are still fun, but here is the newest version, Version 0.6. It is not on my website yet, but it will be soon.
You can see the changes here...
Comments on 2194 Days of War Gigamap
Japanese - MecKPomm
Axis -
Chinese - Pavlov
Americans - Pap
British - Choke
Neutrals - AI
Soviets - El Awrence
I will take whoever, but I would like to have either America or Britain in that order.

I had to fix a few things that slipped through Quality Assurance, so the QA manager, Pap, has been fired. If you already downloaded the scenario from my website, you need to download the below attactchment. If you did not download it yet, then don't worry about it.
It is not big, it is just the actual scenario file.

You know, looking at the *.bat, it would be a great idea to winterise the scenario. As the bat sort of runs along summer-winter lines, it would be a great improvement.

El Awrence, it is winterized as much as I can. The soviet units change their camoflague between the different months, the only problem with chaning the terrain is that it would be changed everywhere including near the ecuator, etc and that would look weird.
German units have their move points lowered in the winter months and all of the roads only have a multiplier of 2 as opposed to 3 in the summer.
Don't forget to download the update if you need to.

Ah, yeah, I just realised that after playing a couple of turns. This stackable feature is going to be interesting to play with.

Play hardball?
Ok, uh, the terrain is stackable, the world is damn large and China is invincible.

Tora, Tora, Tora!
The Japanese attack the US-Navy-Station at Pearl Harbour. The global war began. Four Battleships, a lot of cruisers and destroyers and other war ships of the US-Navy were sunk by Japanese Divebombers and Zeros.
Moreover the Army from the Rising Sun started to occupy Indochina, the Phillipines and many Island in the Pacific Ocean. Singapur, Kuala Lumpur and Rangoon were bombed by Betty Bombers. The offense in China got stucked, however the Japanese concentrated their power for a new attack. In spite of this the Imperial Army brings the colonial troops to give up and conquer the important city.
Finally Guam, Manila and the whole Island Luzon, Ambon and Surabaya were captured.
I hope I did everything right ( I pressed ctrl+n ).

House Rules
*No bomber/fighter and AA stacking
*No ending turn with planes still in the air
*No pillaging fortresses
That's all I have, any others?

Could someone please control if my game works (I think at the crtl-n-bug) I got a problem in another game. I don't want to ruin the game, when everyone has moved his units and consequently my units were moved by the ai.

CSL, this happens at Apolyton from time to time. Just download the extentionless file, add .net to the end of it in the rename function, and then it should work.

Does the URL in your address bar appear as 'apolyton.net' or does it appear as an IP address? When I had the IP address, I couldn't dl.

What Darius sugested should work... Download the file as an 'all files' file, then add .net to the end of it's name.
