Just so you all know, I'm willing to be in both the 0.6 playtests, but only when the original ones begin to end. I was already at my limit of games a week ago and then I joined the eight-game Bonoparte tourney as a favor, so I'm too stretched to do five games of this time-consuming scenario.
If you are willing to wait (or if you have to), I'll be here. It looks like the civfan game will be over relatively soon, HB as well. Apolyton will probably last a long time though, but three is still better than five.

Just so you know Meckpomm, you can play the Jap turn anytime. I call the Axis btw, the last couple of days have been so slow on both forums I guess I can manage to start playing in this one now.

In case you haven't seen it I was caught cheating.
http://apolyton.net/forums/showthrea...65#post1464165
I made some thinking and now I ask you all nicely if I can have a second chance. If everyone is ok with it I can play China in this one. Otherwise, I won't. Simple as that.

Pavlov, you can play, I don't have a problem with it, but we need a replacement for the Axis as CSL had to leave.
Japanese - MecKPomm
Axis -
Chinese - Pavlov
Americans - Pap
British - Choke
Neutrals - AI
Soviets - El Awrence

Hitler was said to be in a jubilant mood today, on hearing the news that the suprise winder offensive my army group North had been a success and the city of Novogrod captured, cutting the main raliway connecting Leningrad with Moscow. Also this month the luftwaffe completely destroyed the Russians Black sea fleet in Sevapol and the wehmacht has sucured the city.
other than that not much happened.
Here you go Pavlov, your go next:

Hmm, my rules.txt says 'For Japanese single-player ONLY'. I got the version from Pap's site just today. Anything wrong?

Uhh, maybe it doesn't matter, I didn't notice anything strange in my turn.
And nothing happened. Good luck Pap, kill some Japs for me.

"December 7th, 1941, A Day That Will Live In Infamy."
In a speech from President Franklin D. Roosevelt to Congress, FDR talked about the unprovoked attack on sovereign American soil at Pearl Harbor. Many men were killed both at Pearl Harbor and at various other places throughout the Pacific. War was immediately declared on the Japanese, and in turn, the rest of the Axis alliance declared war on the United States. FDR continued in his speech later that night to the American people. "They have awoke a sleeping giant, we can out-produce and out-fight all of the countries we are at war with. America will prevail"
Throughout December, units were mobilized for war all across the country and into various other places as well. Industry is currently being shifted from cars and appliances to bullets, tanks and planes.
America will prevail and Democracy will live on.
Pap

may I have the neutrals
Is the Neutrals seat taken? Do you really intend to waste it on the AI? If not, I'd be willing to give it a shot I 'll probably concentrate on trade, to give my allies the extra boost they need

Tanelorn, you can have th Neutrals, I have no problem with that, that should actually be a good way from the cities getting captured easily.
BTW, Tanelorn, I've been wanting to talk to you about some of the things you mentioned, do you have AOLIM, MSN, or ICQ?

The Neutral peples of the world urge all beligerents to stop this futile slaughter and take their differences to the league of nations, lest the future of mankind be ruined forever.Enough harm has been done already.
We, the unaligned nations, stand united in our quest to guard neutrality, peace and prosperity for our peoples.
Hence we welcome trade and scientific cooperation with everyone, to prove our impartiality. Therefore all trade convoys were facilitated through our customs service, bureaucracy kept to a minimum.
However, any military forrays into our borders, airspace and territorial waters(for any reason whatsoever), will be met with the appropriate reaction. So, we consider the presence of some military units next to our cities to be the result of temporary missunderstanding.
Moreover, we would be willing to come into trade agreement with anyone that can offer us the knowhow on merchant marine (transport tech). Offers can be submitted publicly or through private negotiations (PM).
Comments:
1- Why can't/ shouldn't I research light tanks or (at least) transports?
2- When I tried to reload the game directly to ctrl-n it (load game>.net) the cheat menu was activated on its own, but there was no cheat message in the score screen! (I swear I haven't cheated, why should I?). When I load the game from the main menu (multiplayer>internet etc>) all is ok. Is this normal? Why is it happening? Is saving-reloading a turn considered cheating in pbem?
3- The basic bomber graphic is identical to the Ju 88

House Rules
*No bomber/fighter and AA stacking
*No ending turn with planes still in the air
*No pillaging fortresses
That's all I have, any others?

oops sorry, i din't do this intentionaly... actulay I've had a look at my save and only 3 stacks are covered by air units, (some planes are staked with other air units), there are plently on units for you to attack around Kalin to be fair. I was under the immpression that for staks in a fortress (all stacks on this map) that air units wouldnt provide cover but i guess I was wrong.

That's why it's madness to venture INTO the cities; they're literally safer in aircover stacks than in cities. Wait for the Axis player to foolishly fill a city with units and then Katyusha the f*ck out of him.

Japanese Report
The Japanese Empire occupied Wake Island. The Superbattleship Yamamoto shoot down everything that was in town. The situation in Indochina is difficult for the Japanese Navy. Hiro Hito orders to make arrangements for an invasion near Davao.
There is huge bloody battle out there in the South and Middle Pacific. But not only there! The war in China also reached new terrible highs. During the capture of Nanning the Japanese began their offense west of Peking. Many Chinese and Japenese soldiers died.
