Jungle Gazette Rebirth
OK. I have not heard about the Gazette for a while. I do not intend to let unortho's hard work end. I know several people were planning on working on this, myself included, but RL always seams to come up. If I am able to this weekend, and I think I may, I intend on putting out a new issue.
Toppics to be covered:
Court Case #5
Kufu, and his new army (?)
The new constitution being ratified.
The end of the Frogs (oops... er um) France.
The disappearance of Duddha, OPD, Unortho among others.
Thud the Peacemonger turns into the Warmonger?
Whatever you submit. I am not nearly as picky as unorhto is. I will probably put out any old crap that you may submit. Just remember, it will have your name on it. If others are already working on this, and I just missed it, please post and we can combine efforts. Let this be a memorial issue.

Actually folks you can expect the gazette to be ready and up either saturday evening/sunday morning depending on where you live. I apologize for the delay, RL has indeed reduced the Gazette staff to emergency status, but I am confident that this will be a great one.

GodKing: You forgot to include a follow-up to the issue a long LONG time back where we were first(?) fighting France and there was an interview about France's adoption of trailer parks. I'm sure someone remembers it. And wasn't it GenghisFarb that posted "France: Land of 1000 Capitals"?
Ah, those were the days...

I don't like Shinji.
I mentioned the cellos because that is what the first movie is about. aside from the whole Death & Rebirth thing.

Godking if you would like to write a topic about Thud turned warmonger , or Duddha and Unorthodox's absense (which I think will make a large impact on the remainder of the game), or Khufu, AND you can have your article finished by this saturday evening/sunday morning I see no reason why you cannot be involved as well. Welcome aboard! (although i knew you were aboard already anyways... )

First thing, let me apologize for the lateness of this gazette. Real Life's been rough for hte past week or two, and I've been barely able to put any time into it. Having said that, we do hope to have it out this weekend .
GodKing, if you can write anything, please . If you have a creative viewpoint on the constitution being ratified, feel free to write an article on that -- otherwise, I'll just be writing a few lines full of facts (not that fun, but can't think of anything creative to do for it).
Same goes for anyone else -- if you want to write any article, please feel free (as long as you check that we haven't already written it ). We are aiming for a mid-weekend release, but if that works with your time table, then any help would be highly appreciated.

"picky"?
pfft!
I only ever turned away ONE article to my knowledge. And that was a 'please vote for me because this and that' which I decided was no good for the paper.

That one was a little mistake, actually. I forgot to copy the picture to my computer, and it didn't make sense withot the pic.

You turned down two of mine... of course I was drinking heavily when I wrote them (one time in 4 years I get drunk... and what do I do, I log on and write for the gazette.... jeez). Of course, that assumes I was not so drunk as to actually remember to send them in.....

I don't remeber those. The only thing I know you have sent in was a log type entry to Donal Graeme.
I really did try to make a point o printing whatever was sent in, and only would edit obvious mistakes/spelling. Truth told, half the time I didn't even read most of them till I published the Gazette. Kind made it interesting to hve something for ME to read as well.

Was no big deal. When I realized they were not in, I looked at them from my save and realized that I would not have published them myself.

The Gazette will be published tomorrow night so that we can get as many articles as possible in. Anyone who thinks they can write a shortish article (or a long one -- we're not picky ) in that time, please let me know . Articles abou both in-game events and on-forum events are good in general -- there's no way we'll be able to cover everything since the last Gazette, but the more stuff we can stuff in the better. We also currently have no feature picture to be posted on the forums (well, I could put the NewCon chart in there, but nothing besides that), so if anyone has something appropriate please feel free to share .
