Map Setting Finalization: Diversity
Time to decide on the map settings. See this thread for more introduction crap
See the Diversity poll, distribution of votes:
5: 1
6: 1
7: 3
8: 6
9: 2
10: 7
So 75% voted for 8, 9 and 10. 9 seems like a good compromise between 8 and 10, even though only 2 people actually voted for it. If 9 is rejected in this poll, we would have to hold a poll with only 8 and 10 as options.

High diversity means to give all the players the same change to get a good piece of terrain for the first city, therefore 9 is ok.

Why exactly do we need to finalize things that have already been agreed upon in another poll?
Did I miss something when I read through the archives here?

DarkCloud,
what we were doing, was to take the highest voted options and gave it a run-off poll, making sure that everyone is satiesfied
The thing was, that sometimes we had like 2-3 options with the same # of votes (or similar) and therefore another poll was needed to clarify which one to choose.
I hope it helps

GILGAMESH-
Okay, now I understand
Instead of "vote for option A" and "vote for option B" you offered "yes for A", which would be a vote for A and "no for A", which would be a vote for B...
More confusing, but it works
Thank you for the explanation!
HTOWER-
I just wanted an answer- so I asked in the first thread I saw.
