Did Firaxis scrap the story?

The story was supposed to be posted on Aliencrossfire.com, but somehow it slipped through the cracks.

We've gone ahead and placed the final installment up on our site for those of you who want to download it:

We're planning on putting the entire series (SMAC and SMACX) up at Firaxis.com in the very near future. Stay tuned.

Well, as much as I have bashed the story, I must say that the final episode was very nice. The so called 'forgotten factions' in the story (the Probes and Cyborgs) made a final appearance, and the fact that the Cyborgs and University were allied makes it all the better.

A bit rushed at the end, and the development was WAY too fast (only 9 episodes? The first one was... what? Over 40?), but I'm converted.

Excellent job.

Hey Jasonian or anyone who has downloaded and read the story. Would you mind posting it in the AC Fiction forum. I'm having problems with my computer. I can't read it right now.
