Name the Planet
Each civ will of course have its own name. However, the world as a whole should be given a name.
Please list your suggesstions below:

What about "Apolytonia" ?
Edit : scratch that, there's a wonderful name we didn't use in the SPDG : Trippen

Well, I've just spoken with Evangelion-Freak on the chat (not to be mistaken with Apoc), and we came to this name
Maailma
It means "Planet Earth" in Finninsh, a mix between "Earth" (Maa) and "Air" (Ilma). It has a meaning and sound extremely cool IMO
What do you think ?

We'll probably name the entire universe after you, but we're witing for launching a Spaceship to Alpha Century first

I'm with Apolyton. I think its best. After all, we may be on different teams, but we ARE all Apolytonians (You might be American, European, Austrailian, Asian, or a Kiwi, but we are all Earthlings).

Ennet - the "bob" discussion was in our civ3democracy game, and we were trying to decide what to name continents or oceans or something, but someone commented that it seems that on our own planet (earth that is) every continent began and ended with the same letter. "E-urop-E" or "A-si-A", etc etc,. So someone said 'lets call it BOB'. ahh memories.
I suppose you had to have been there.

Why not have every team call the planet in their own "language", as is done in real life? So one team could call the world Bobba after their ancient goddess of earth, and another Trippina after the goddess that is the ancestress of the dynasty, another could call it Maailima after the Finnish goddess, or if they are Finns who want to play the Arabs, they would call it المعالمة (Ma'alima) to make it sound Arabic, etc. Apolytonia or Apolyta (Άπολυτα) could be the formal scientific name that almost no one uses except for science fiction writers, as Terra is here

"Terra inconito" seems fitting (in both ways)
and if it's inconit A, I don't care!!!

Has anyone ever seen Titan A.E. (After Earth)?
It's like a cartoon movie and Earth exploded so they search for a new planet, there are 2 people who claim the new planet and the guy names the new planet 'Bob'. So I'm voting for Bob.
