Well, I can't see the first post of this thread, and I don't know if someone can. So, I'll post again:
"I'm having troubles to find time to accomplish my duties in the Apolytonian Geographic Society, and for the C3DG in general. I have to participate in some real politics right now, due the needs of organize the new government here in Brazil (no, I'm not in any office... I'm in a non-governmental agency dedicated to education). This will take me something about one month. I hope someone could take care of the maps in my absence... . I'll post a little and look a lot, if possible, and it's my intend to vote in the polls, but I can't promise much more. Play well, folks, and have fun!"

After brilliantly winning the elections, Aro spends a few days in Switzerland opening bank accounts.

Oh, not me, unfortunately... In fact, I know one guy (he's a from my home town) who is secretary of some big shots in the government... before the election, he was traveling a lot over Europe, including Switzerland. I wonder what he was doing...

I wouldve never known you lived in Brazil...
we have so much diversity here on the demo game!
Anyways, I hope someone takes over the maps while you're gone you do maps really good, Mr. Cartographer
After a long stay in Apolytonia, Aro decides to head back to Brazil to reorganize an education group (hopefully, I hope) for the better.

Tassadar, I'm very sorry... However you will understand me, you are a leftist. You know how hard the tasks of the revolution are .
We (some comrades and me) just have to put the things working, and after this I'll just have to make illustrations, this don't take so much time. The worst part is organize a lot of high talented illustrators. This kind of people isn't very sensible... Huge egos, if you know what I mean...
No more than one month, I hope.

Aro, your geographic contributions have given all of us an incredibly useful insight into our (not-so) little corner of the world, and have led to some ingenious plans for dissecting our enemies. In the President's office that has been recently renovated, the pride of place behind (currently) my desk that Vice President Arnelos currently occupies is that enormous Aro original world map that you gifted the State some years ago. That map continues to draw the eyes of the most prestigious of visitors in the frequent international conferences that take place within the capital. In fact I believe that it has been due to the distraction by that map of our visitors from the likes of Germany and Rome that has led to FAM Togas' fantastic trade terms achieved in many negotiations. When we promise them our World Map, it is my firm belief that what they actually expect is that majestic map, by the most renowned cartographer in history!
Aro, your contributions, both in the cartographic field as well as during chats and discussions in the forums have been memorable. Come back when you can and keep us marvelling.
WIA.

Think of it:
Over Apolyton's history,
Without Aro the maps couldn't have been made.
Without the maps we couldn't have devised our brilliant military plans.
Without our brilliant military plans we couldn't have conquered a dead flea.
Without the ability to conquer more than a dead flea, we would be a puny half-nation South/West(not southwest, south or west) of France, America, Germany, and Persia.
If we were, we'd probably be a sevant to their every whim, or worse, conquered.
Basically, a big to Aro and hoping he can release all that pent-up C3DG-wanting in some excellent maps (as if he don't already make good maps) when he gets back.

Good luck aro. Hope you don't have to shoot to many of them in the back of the head to make your points.......
Anyway, good luck. And enjoy some Civ every now and then until you get back.
