Chosen, writein (i wasn't the first )
They should be chozen by the DEI...nah just kidding.
They should by the DIA, AT, and Cmmisioner, based on a vote between the three.

I think however stupidly burocratic or OTT it may seem, we are the Peacekeepers, and as such, we should elect every post... Democracy above all else!
Although if you want to appoint me im not complaining

They should be elected among those who volunteer or who are appointed volunteers.

Oh my. If there will be a topped thread for every single governor election, we'll have to go to page two every time to see the active threads.

Hmmm... now to shoot myself in the foot... Although i agree with the majority that we should elect goverors, this poll, though technically constitutional, isn't exactly fair. Since there are 4 options of chosen, and only 1 for elected, the total number of people who favour a chosen Govenorship will appear less. In other words, there are actually 5 votes for chosen and 11 for elected at the moment. Shouldn't the poll be 'appointed vs elected' and then poll for who to appoint them if it wins?

Well it appears "appointed" won't win anyway so why bother anymore?

Just for future referance, have seen lots of polls that could be interpreted in many ways.
A quote comes to mind:
"Lies, damned lies and statistics"

I know you're right in theory, but in practice what you propose is almost impossible. Surely we could organize a correct scientific-methodological poll, but 1) it would take too much days to set up a poll in several parts, time which we do not have with one week/turnchat, and 2) I doubt many of our citizens would be willing to vote on a whole battery of polls every day or week. Hercules and Groucho for example complained a while back about an abundance of polls. Thus every time a compromise needs to be made between accuracy on the one side, and speed and simplicity on the other side.
PS: That's the advantage if being a director. You can interpret the polls the way you like it.

CHOSEN is the first option so you count up all the chosenvotes in to one... if that wins from all the ELected votes then you look at which on of the chosen won? that is how i see it! :d

Yep DBTS makes reasonable point but interestingly if Elected as method is chosen. Is it first past the post, STV, a list system, or whatever.
Just asking? I am not sure what democratic system we have here. It looks like first past the post but we had the famous no confidence vote ?

What about that vote? The people rejected Archaic and voted in someone else.
