Sleague Updated More or Less
http://sleague.apolyton.net/
1. I'd like some comments on the direction in which I am taking SLeague.
2. Some suggestions on content would be quite welcome. Such suggestions should include URLs.
3. Content would be even more welcome. Content includes magazine articles for Techumseh, reviews for me, and graphics collections for me.

Good news
And I could send you my units collections, maybe also cities etc.
I thought of reopen my website, but there are some problems with the host, I´m not sure when they are gone...In the meantime it would be a pity when they are not available (they are at the Civ Universum to which I´m linked to, but the site´s in German )

I've yanked the Ancient, Medieval, and Renaissance Ship collections from the German site. If you send me your city collection, I'll put up the whole shebang sometime in the next hundred years.

Hmm, the orange looks terrible, never cared for that much.
Why not bring back the old seal?

Yep.
The only suggestion I can make is to change that awful mustard color used for the ScenLeague background.

I'll render my verdict when I see it.

Sure thing. How does an awful salad colour sound?

I think overall, the amount of yellow should be reduced... And since you have the colors all nicely in a stylesheet that wouldn't be too difficult, no?
Well, the fact that the color scheme of the site is its main issue must be a good thing.
Edit...
Ack! I couldn't resist... How about these two... I even have the CSS files ready, so all you'd need to do is change the title graphic.

That looks pretty good, but I've just completed a de-yellowing of my own. I'll put yours up if mine is received negatively.

Ah, you finished the "salad".
That looks fine by me (except that the index titles are barely readable, that is "Reviews", "Tips", "Magazine" etc.)
Doesn't HTML/CSS have some features with which you can have multiple stylesheets and allow the user to pick? (don't know if any browser actually supports that yet).
(And which game did you rip that nice image from this time? )

Ah, you finished the "salad".
I was going for "aquamarine", but you know how it is.
(And which game did you rip that nice image from this time? )
That's from a wallpaper of the Russian Buran space shuttle.

Yep. Send me yours.

If you have time go through the entire graphics showcase thread and make it all into a gigantic graphics archive which can then be dled from the sleague site (or you could just upload every individual file, in any event it'd be a lot easier to go through them that way).
If this is too much I guess you couls simply place a link somewhere to the thread as possible scenario designers who aren't visiting the forums (if there are any that is...) would be missing out on all the material otherwise...

unless all of the artists included their initials in the graphic in the first place, imagine how much work Leo would have to do to docuement the artist.

That's the most that I am going to do until I have a lot more free time.
BTW, Gothmog needs articles for the magazine. Do something.

Well, why don´t you use a similar color scheme like the one you had on your ziggurat site (more blue)? Because a) I like blue , and b) but not green ...
No, but seriously, IMO the green style is not the best choice...

There will be a Blue redesign in December. Until then, don't get too green with envy at my unsurpassable design skills.

While we are on the subject, is there a 30 Years War scenario out there that actually uses those?

I notice there are few reviews on the SL page.
a) Is that becasue people like me do not get off our chairs and do more reviews?
b) Was that a dumb question?

Yes. We could also use a few articles for the Scenario League Magazine.

What would really interest me it that someone would finally take the time to review one of my scenarios.
Death and Resurrection of an Empire (Daroae) was already up for review on the old site and is by now a few years old.
Also a review of my last scenario, Vikings - Across the Oceans, would be very interesting to see. I can't imagine better feedback for scenarios than a well written review by another great scneario creator.
I usually use my real name in scenarios so these are all from Mathias Koester.
