How Big's YOUR Civ2 folder?
Well, how much space does it take up?
Over 500 mb here, and over 300mb of that is scenarios.

85,9 Mb, but that's just standard Civ II UCC without any extra scenarios, mods or other junk.

Between Civ2, MGE, and TOT about 250M, but I went through my archives last year and deleted most of my old game saves and zipped the few I kept.
Ras, is that Hoplite trying to flap his arms and fly?

Yikes. My FW, gif library and ToT put together are still under that.
So I guess we know to whom to turn the next time somebody has a hard disk crash.

Hehe, I have a lot of double copies of files in different formats though as PC versions need to be converted before I can run them.
Gifs->Picts
Wavs->Aiffs
Often I keep the PC files though as picts cannot be edited in image editors without messing up the pallete (it works fine with gifs however).

121 MB for my Civ2-FW folder, 328 MB for ToT...
But that doesn't really do justice to the amount of Civ2 on my computer, since I also have a full Civ2 website (and another in preparation) with lots of downloads on my harddisk, a separate folder with map resources, several Civ2 utilities in development, and a separate folder with all sorts of miscellaneous Civ2 stuff, like hex editing docs and lots and lots of maps.
All in, that's about 769 MB ( Still not even close to your figure, Henrik).

Have you downloaded all maps, scenarios and mod packs floating around there?
The Swedish doesn't bother me.

Not even close to everything
I do think there should be people who has more stuff than I do though...
168 scenarios are there, one which is a modpack (mady be me a looong time ago), I do think most of the space is taken by graphics though (I have a lot that's not used in scenarios but I keep it in case I need to use it in a scenario of my own)...
I do think I should to clean out some stuff soon though.

~400 mb although most of my scenarios are still in their zip files, and I delete all sound files because I never have the sound turned on.

 Oh, rap. I didn't see the microphone, must be concealed behind the shield.
PS: Everyone had to fight right-handed in the Legion, and the Legionaires didn't use spears, only the Pilum (a javelin with a long, thin, lead-shafted head).

Mine is 140MB....I am astounded at some of the figures here. I don't have many scenarios/saves any more, but these are really small for civ2 anyway.
Maybe it is because I used the 2.42-MGE upgrade?

It does play but not very well. Slow and no sound. Need to try some of the DOS emulators and see if I can get it running at a decent speed.

700-900 mb when extracted- I keep my civ files in seperate folders... although If I hadn't accidentally deleted all my scenarios when I changed computers' I'd probably have about 1.1 gb
