Granaries bugged?
Hello all,

Short time reader, first time poster..

I'm playing deity level games to help me cut my teeth on CivIII, and I've run into a snag.

Over the past few games (1.29f), I've noticed that my granaries stop working - they are in a cities improvment's list, but the growth bar requires the entire window, instead of half. I've been able to sell and rebuild the granary to get it working again - but I don't know what's causing this. I've had several games where half of my cities granaries are working, the other half aren't.

No MODs, 1.29f, securom-fixed .exe from Infogrames (my CD-rom doesn't cooperate otherwise), deity, normal map size, random, random, random, normal options, accelerated production off.

Any ideas/work arounds?

from size 6 to 7 & 12 to 13the granaries get emptied completely.

This was done in one of the patches IIRC, to kill an exploit

Thanks for the reply, but this not what I mean.

This is occuring on size 2,3,4,5 cities - the granary does not show any division between the 'reserve' and the 'collection' fields. It looks like city does not have a granary at all.

Rebuilding the granary in these smaller cities causes it to work correctly again. This is not something related to size 6 or size 12 worker building..

The granaries cease functioning in these cities. I'll post a screenshot when I get a chance.

Hi, I'm smoking crack - this is exactly what it is.

I thought I saw this on cities with size other than 7, but apparently I'm slightly delusional.

IT's TRUE!! i experience the same thing even when my cities are smaller than 6. can't understand, never experienced before, even with pyramids...
