About Laz's column and the closing of threads
I can see why Ming closed the thread, but is there a way to keep Laz's column alive? I hate to see it disappear to page 763... Is there no way we can convince Markos (or DanQ) to enter it in the official column section?

After all, it's one of the best columns ever written.

From what I understand, it was going to be in the Column, maybe it will be still.....

That's why I waited so long to close the thread... While the thread will always be there... page 105 isn't the proper place for it.

Unfortunately, people posting to the thread gave me no real choice.

Perhaps a new thread could be created, with Laz' column in it, and then that could be topped and locked

I meant the question for Ming, I'm sure he could do it.

Rather than reposting Laz's column, a tricky ethical subject in this heated atmosphere pertured by bloated egos, the moderator could use the SPLIT thread fuction. Seperate the article, top it and lock it, and leave the rest locked and sinking.

The question is also if there would be a more appropriate forum to store it in or could it be stored elsewhere as e.g. RTF document. Having it as a topped and locked thread in A/C is abit twisted as it's abit off-topic here, rather than have it somewhere else. Maybe a "Laz's Site of Writings" could be good and he could put the URL in his profile and signature.
