Please help a frustrated newbie?
Hey,

I bought CTP2 a couple of days ago- the 'Essential Collections' copy- really cheap. But anyway, I was reading the text-based manual, (as this copy didn't ship with a real on ) and read about the Televangelists. "Cool!" I thought and prioritised getting to Mass Media ASAP. Which I did, but the Televangelist is not in any of my unit listings in the build roster! Is there a condition I have to fulfill before I have access to these? I really needed one at the time as well :P
Any help/info would be appreciated!
Cheers

...also, is there any fix for the way CTP2 resets its preferences everytime the game is started up?

You need to be in the Theocracy government to be able to build Televangelists, which is kinda weird really, but there it is.

Im not sure about the other thing though, never had that before.

Yeah, set them the way you want them, alt-tab out of the game, and find ctp_program/ctp/userprofile.txt - and set it to write-protected. Then the game will keep your settings. GO back into the game and continue normally. You will only need to do this once.
