Should we move to eliminate AI Civs ? v. 2.0
http://apolyton.net/forums/showthrea...threadid=68469
We'll be 7 human controlled Civs, which leaves room to one AI Civ, and the question wether to eliminate this AI civ has sparked a little bit of debate.
Here's the poll to decide officially on the issue
Question :
Should we move to eliminate AI Civs ?
Answers :
YES
NO
To abstain, do not vote
This poll will last 3 days.

If more than 5 human, then no AI.
Best to eliminate them now.

Get rid of the AI, it will make the game more even.

I think it's really stupid idea to have a democracy where decisions are constantly being made and then getting repolled.

Let this be the last one. I think I speak for the people of the forum, that we are getting tired of getting repolled over and over again. anyway I quote myself:

AI will just act like a mentally retarded children in the midst of scheming adults trying to compete. It is easily suceptible to manipulation of human diplomacy.
|
So if we have enough human players to have full game, why add?
EDIT: Here's even a better way to sum up my view.

It requires 2 clicks to vote in a poll... is that really terribly painful? Or are you objecting to having to think more than once?

I did this repoll because we accepted the AI when there were 4 human civs around.
Now that there are 7 (which leaves room for only one AI), things have changed. And the results seem to prove the question was worth asking again.

It isnt the actual repolling that bothers most people but having to come to another conclusion that bothers them. What if first poll suggested 'yes' and the repoll 'no'? Even worse we can repoll until we get a 'no'... if we keep getting yes. Things like that annoy people about repolling, that and if you voted on the first poll and you missed the second one.
