Stupid Carthaginian Question
Well, I don't have PtW yet (evil Infogrames UK which delays the game by 2 weeks more ), and I have a question about the Carthaginians :
I remember having read somewhere the Numidian Mercenary didn't make you pay upkeep. Is it true ?

Hmm, not sure where you heard that, upkeep for it is the same as with other units. Though it is still a 2/3/1 if its any consolation.

Hmm, I think that's after he shaved.
I think the Carthaginian unit is good enough as a 2-3-1. It fairly easy to get a golden age early with it.

You of all people would say that. Instead of the industrious trait a civ gets the slaveholding trait...

It's also fairly easy to avoid a Too Early GA, if you take the battle to your enemy instead of being on the defense.
