Another Age of War, anyone?
Since there has been some response to my previous post, I have decided to start another Age of War PBEM(credits go out to, you guessed it, Exile).
This will be my first PBEM, but if anyone wants to give it a shot, post your supplications right here.
I think I'll take mother Russia.
Long live dictatorship .

Since there's been quite a debate about the issue of repeatedly loading the save game to get better results, may I suggest a "house rule" that no-one does it in this game?
However I dont think we should try to police it/ have accusations flying around or anything, just so everyone knows what it expected and no-one has an unfair advantage. I think playing this way would be more realistic (real world leaders didn't have access to time machines) and less tedious for the players.
I don't think we should stop anyone doing it but that it's their choice, only I'd prefer it if you didnt.
any thoughts?

I would support a house rule, even if it can't be enforced, just to make it clear.

So, the current actors are:
Russia: Valuk
Great Britain: greeny
France: Darius871
Italy: yop73
Germans: Choke
Spain: 0hwell
Turkey:
The new Russian tzar shall probably inforce a stiff autocratic regime(unless that ceases to suit his imperialistic needs ) and will immediately seek for allies on the continent(such as Germany) and for a strong navy(Britain).
But we'll just have to wait until the coup'd'etat for that to happen.

You might want to negotiate with PM's. There is an interresting article about this in this month's SLM, which you can find in the creation/ScenarioLeague forum.

The order for this scenario is:
Russians
Italians
French
Germans
Turks
English
Spanish
So Valuk needs to start the game. Are we going to use the civfanatics version or Choke's modified one or what?

And one more question, are Choke's amendments only to the placement of the tiles, or will it have to be downloaded as a whole new scenario?

Darius, your PM box is full
Oh, and here is my introduction:
Old Ottoman Sultan Dies!
Declares a Foreign Exchange Student From Japan as New Sultan!
Yes, the glorious Ottoman empire has really sunk that low. The senile Sultan declared his heir two hours before dying. But to do so, he randomly chose a passerby on the streets of Istanbul. As fate would have it, a Greek speaking Japanese exchange student, Kawa Yannes, was strolling the lovely refuse filled streets when the Sultan passed by. Seeing this odd face, the Sultan asked Yannes to join them. Not wishing to be a rude visitor, Yannes did so, only to be proclaimed the new Sultan. After writting a few letters home, Yannes got on the ball and started to rearange the messed up affairs of the state. He fears that it will take many years, even with outside help in technologies and funding.

Berliner Zeitung
Kaisers Jointly Appoint New Kanzeller
Herr Feldmarshall Chokenblatt has been named Kanzeller of the Deutschreich, the Osterreich, and the Magyar Empire. Herr Feldmarshall Kanzeller Chokenblatt has announced that he plans to draw the three glorious empires into a closer relationship than they have ever enjoyed before. To accomplish this he has announced that Deutsch will be the official language of the new union and will be the only language used in public.
Nederland Incorporated Into Deutschreich
Herr Chokenblatt was glad to announce that Nederlanders had petitioned him to liberate their nation from it's out-dated monarchy. Feldmarshall von Moltke was given the task of removing treachous pro-monarchist troops from Nederland cities, so far the city formerly known as Arnhem has been liberated. The city is now named after it's liberator, hence the name Moltkeburg. The Kriegsmarine has been mobilized to help liberate Amsterdam which is already considered a part of the Deutschreich.
New Trade Policy Announced
The Kanzeller has let it be known that trade is welcomed from all the nations of Europe as long as trade envoys announce their destination on departure from their homeland. The Feldmarshall was proud to anounce that some 10 trade envoys are on their way to destinations in several countries, he released this list:
Nuremburg-Paris Coal
Nuremburg-Paris Copper
Koln-Le Havre Arms
Osnabruck-Amiens Machines
Hannover-London Nitrates
Magdeburg-Paris Wine
Munchen-Moscow Chemicals
Breslau-Warsaw Coal
Bremen-Copenhagn Tools
Hamburg-Arhus Tools
Kanzeller Defines Europe's Borders
Herr Chokenblatt has said that Denmark has petitioned to be incorporated into the Deutschreich and that western Sweden has done so as well but that the resident of Stockholm have not. He expressed that Rumania is clearly in Russia's sphere of influence and that perhaps Russia would be interested in withdrawing her troops from Jugoslavija if Deutsch/Magyar troops are removed from Bulgaria. Furthermore he announced that he believes that Tirane and Skopje are rightfully a part of Jugoslavija and that perhaps Turkey would like to withdraw their troops from those cities in exchange for the help of German scientists in improving the Turkish standard of living.

Russia's reply to German diplomatic aggression
Russia will not tolerate German military activity anywhere in Sweden, Romania, the Ottoman Empire or Serbia & Crna Gora.
These territories are considered Russian spheres of influence and/or territories.
Russia will be glad to make a pact w/ Germany if the Kaiser agrees with this partitioning tactic.
In exchange, we offer you military aid in time of need and in conquests of minor nations.
Otherwise, Russia will seek allies elswhere.
