The Recreation Commons : third floor.
Due to overwhelming succes the Peacekeeper government has decided to construct a recreation commons at every base, and expand the current one near New Apolyton Government Palace. More precisely they installed a Hologram Theatre on our new third floor. In short: more place, new urinoirs and better beer! Have fun!
New suggestions for booze are always welcome.
The current list of beverages is:
Beer
Heineken (cryo-cooled!)
Leffe (the best)
Velkopopovicky Beer (Czech beer)
New Caledonian Beer (For those who support CCCP!)
Xeno Inc. (tm) (c)
Xenobrew (Support TKG's monopolistic ambitions the Research Department!)
Xenocoffee - with xenomilk and synth0sugar
Xenococoa
XenoBanana Split (Support Mr. Xenobanana's election campaign!)
Wine list
Red Sol de Mesa (Wine out of the good sunny Mesa fungus - tastes fine with the sealurk - will become available after we've discovered that place )
White Yugo de Suelo Pholussia (A wine I can´t recommend completely; a little too sweet)
Doceagua (From the nearby Freshwater Sea)
Non-alcoholic beverages
Wild Cherry Pepsi
Water (Expensive! Our water recycling technics aren't perfected yet. I'd suggest a nice beer instead...)
P4PSI (For old times' sake. Enlightens your mind.)
Orange Juice
Longisland-icetea
Cocktails
Chiron-Redberry-Cocktail
Hive Mind Stuff (with honey)
Muroroa (makes you glow)
Bloody Miriam
Black Stuff (High quality label - we are not responsible for its content)
Kalimotxo (two thirds of Red Sol de Mesa, one third of P4PSI)
Other
Fungal Gin (A real killer!)
Talisker Whisky (Deirdre's treat)
Jack Daniels Blue Label (0.15 ec per bottle)
Salmiakkikossu (Salted licorice)
We have been thinking about serving warm meals. Handy for workers with a late shift:
Chopped Psych Worms with Lurk-Blood Sauce
Lurkroast with Monsoon-Salad
Fungus Tower Schnitzel with deep-fried worms
Pickled Spores

You win... tatarataa... a full month of free Xenobrews, offered to you by Xeno Inc.!!!!
Aren't you happy?
Tonight we will be showing "Deirdre's Lover", directed by Pandemoniak. I really recommend it. It uses the brandnew 3DHoloVision technology, which provides much better action scenes.

Voltaire, I'll see you at the courthouse.
Gimme a three floors of Talisker to celebrate, though.

Pandemoniak I thought you of all people would, in the spirit of communism, let all the people of Planet share in this work of art free of charge to inspire the people to rise up against capitalist oppression and overthrow the bourgeoisie pigs in a glorious communist revolution.

Indeed. But you need to have the party's card to be able to see it before its released. What you did, downloading it before its "première", is simply industrial spying.

But isn’t that being elitist? Only “party” members get special privileges, while the rest of us are less equal in that we don’t get the same privilege as the party members. I see a shift towards Stalinism here in CCCP policy.

Hercules calls into see the third floor. Spys Juke box in the corner
" I 'll have my usual, my good fellow". The Black Stuff.
The juke box is surprisingly empty and it can easily hold 1000 recordings
"I'll donate five from my collection" said Hercules
A Hard Day on the Planet - Louden Wainwright III
Across The Universe - The Beatles
Space Oddity - David Bowie
The Planets Suite - Holst
The Day of the Locusts* - Bob Dylan
Enjoy! donations welcome but no more than 5 to start with.
Maybe I should open the Planet Juke Box Thread
* Believe it ot not this is in the lyrics
Quote:
|
......Yeah, the locusts sang and they were singing for me. I glanced into the chamber where the judges were talking,
Darkness was everywhere,........
|
Scarey or what
That Darkness gets around

I found an interesting specimen of those bouncing thingies near TKG's lab (not that i'm implying anything ), here it is:
I had some trouble picking it up, it can get quite hot, maybe we can send some of them in Yang's general direction?

Bartender, over here... I'll have a Xenobrew, with a jigger of the ol' Black Stuff in the centre, and a sprinkle Salmiakkikossu on the top
And if I'm elected, drinks are on me Not that I'm trying to pressurise people.... not at all
