PTW : networking model?
Does anyone know what the networking model for PTW is? Is it peer-to-peer or client/server?

For some reason I have a feeling it is peer-to-peer-- and that does not sit well with me. Wouldn't it be better as client/server (like Freeciv?).

As peer-to-peer it would probably lag more (since it would have to synchronize each peer-- and it would only progress as fast as the slowest machine could process/transmit), and be more prone to cheating (ala starcraft/warcraft maphack) since state replication would have to be done.

Also, if it is peer-to-peer, we probably won't be seeing a dedicated server anytime soon
