However, when we get to higher level defensive units (1-3+t-1 for instance), the cost to make the garrison a rover starts increasing, while if the garrison remains an infantry unit, the cost remains at 20 minerals base (Adjusted for Industry of course).

Right, but I think we should consider building 1-3t-2 anyway, just because it´s the best defensiv unit we´ll have then.

Yes, you´re right.
Is the concentration on biotechnics (B5) already planned by the MoS? If not, do it! Once we get this, our units don´t need to be maintained any longer, so there´s no need for a "base to build our military from"...

no the first direction the DoS is making is towards fossiel fuels. the main though in be beginning of the war with the hive was that we needed better weapons...then we didnt have the gatling technology yet...now that we have it is less importent but still i would like to see that fossel fuels will be researched soon...biothechnics will make the units more independed but also more costly if we are suddenly attack by the hive i will advice to go towards that technology

I finally was able to have a look at the save file. I'm quite busy as I have a small Statistics exam tomorrow at Terminal Dogma's Political Sciences department.

First, Terminal Dogma is in drone riot due to the panic and mind attacks caused by the mind worms. Hurrying isn't possible. So I'd suggest to just keep the current build (former). Next turn, when TD is no longer rioting, and if the unit hurried in Pandemonium looses as well against the mind worm, we can change TD's build queue to a Trance Scout Skirmisher if needed.

I'd suggest rushing a 1-2t-2 Trance Scout Skirmisher in Pandemonium for 82 ec. Expensive, but better than losing a couple more formers to that worm. We already lost one scout patrol and one former to the worm, and one more is to follow due to bureaucratic inefficiencies with changing TD's build queue. This needs to stop! The price in human lives and the slowdown of economic progress is already high enough!

With a rover being built in Pandemonium, it is no longer needed to move the police forces out of Pandemonium. Seeing the tense situation in Pandemonium and the current cries for revolution in that base , moving the garrison out of Pandemonium would lead to severe drone riots.

well my stupid regional captian didnt tell me that there were drone riots in TD. this will change the tactics totally i will look again but agree with the major line of your idea. but i would like to have a garrison in TD before another build but if changing building order cause mineral losses then first build the former if not build a garrison in TD.

UPDATED prelim. DPO orders:
Changed orders are like this
TD situation:
1)design unit 1-2t-2
2)build unit 1-2t-2 in TD IF no minerals are lost by the change and rush as soon as possible
3)move scout from pandemonium to (15,17)
4)build 1-2t-2 in pandemonium
4b)rush build in pandemonium
5)lets see what te worm does
IF it attacks TD then:
6a) it is done and we have lost some things in TD
IF it attacks the scout:
6b)hope scout wins
if not:
7a)next turn use 1-2t-2 from pandemonium to destory worm
IF worm does nothing:
6c)attack next turn with 1-2t-2 from TD or pandemonium to destroy worm
If worm flees:
6d) hunt it with 1-2t-2 from TD after a new garrison it build

Antioch:
put a 2-1t-4 in buildingqueue (or a 1-2t-4?)
put a probe foil in buildingqueue

TBIBTU:
put a 2-1t-4 in buildingqueue (or a 1-2t-4?)
attack worm with scout

NS:
put a probe foil in buildingqueue

ZG:
use 2-1t-4 to pop pods in freshwater Sea BUT ONLY IF foil got FULL movement

Sheathed Sword:
put some kind of scout unit in buildingqueue (long planning not importent)

If I move that police infantry out of Pandemonium I have one talent and three drones. I can only prevent drone riots if I move two workers out of the field, which would a year later result in the starvation of 10000 citizens due to insufficient nutrient reserves.

You can decide not to I think. I'm not sure the DPO is allowed to order Governors about build queues, isn't that up to the DIA?

I agree with GTs sentiment, we need infrastructure and facilities.

The main reason I agreed to grant his request was that it will onyl take a couple of turns to build the infantry, due to their lack of armour. Next time, unless we have a pressing need for them, any military units go to the bottom of the queue and stay there until we have nothing else to build.

Even if the DPO is officially suppose to go through the official channels of requesting a build with the DIA, I don’t see what the problem is of just asking the governors themselves, since they are the ones that will carry the order out.

And one question in regards to this, can the DIA order the governors to place a certain item in a certain position on the queue, can does his power only extend to ordering the governors to place the item in the queue, leaving the governor the discretion of where it should go?

Bah! My citizens don't see any need for militarizing Pandemonium! I think it's just a trick by the DLP government in New Apolyton to weaken the CCCP and STEP influence in that base. Besides, shouldn't there be a poll whether or not our citizens want military units, how many military units, and what type of units? I'd like a discussion on that. For instance I don't like best-1-1 units. But for the moment I'll order construction of the unit.

Maniac: In case you haven't noticed, it was DBTS who asked for infantry in Pandemonium, he's not a DLP member, he asked for more from Centralis, and building troops there would actually strengthen the CCCP and STEP by giving them access to part of the military?

i requested them....if you think they cant be build there then dont build them but dont go and start crying when we lose bases or formers to worms and the hive....about polling for types of units....there a LOT of different kind of strategics for building units...and everone uses them differently....and i have no clue how to poll that....if you do please poll and I will make them official but i dont think polling will help debate i am all for.
