He's back now, is this necessary?

Voltaire's been absent for five days. For an Alpha Talent, or a position that doesn't require active orders, then this may not be such a problem. But for a position such as Governor, which requires such micromanagment, we really need someone who is going to be active. Voltaire's absence slowed down this turnchat considerably, as the work that should have been done wasn't, and had to be done by those of us who weren't in the turnchat.
We need Governors who are going to be active. Having a Governor who disappears without explanation for a quarter of their term isn't good enough, and makes things harder for the rest of us. If you can't commit to at least dropping in once or twice a week, then you shouldn't run for an office.
[edit] Drogue posted while I was typing. I hadn't seen any post from Voltaire. If he's going to be around, then this can be closed - but if he intends to disappear for another five days, then we need a replacement director...fast.

Drogue, then vote no I guess. I will still wait and see if Voltaire keeps appearing...

I thought he just went away (hence coming back on an aircraft) though I guess the poll is ok. It needs a 2/3 vote right?

I do apologize for the absence, I should have in hindsight said I’d be occupied last week, but at the time I didn’t think that I would be unable to post on the forum.
To explain my absence, last week I had to pack up and go back to Europe after staying in Canada for a while; long story short I was without a computer for about a week and didn’t have an opportunity to post.

might as well let it run. if people don't want to impeach him, they vote no, not close the thread.
but since he's back, vote no!

Well...he seems like he has a valid reason...hopefuilly this will scare any future directors enough so that they'll leave a note before leaving
