Either no one has bothered to reply to my post, or this game is so below people's attention that it doesn't deserve to played...

I have no problem either way. This game takes so little of my time that if we stop I will not miss it, but we don't, I will continue to enjoy it.

Same as alexman. And sorry, I read it already yesterday, but didn't know what to respond. Guess Alex summed up my feelings as well.

Ok, so we have:
2 - whatever
1 - stop this game

I can live with letting it drop, considering that it's been going slower than the average snail.

I played 3050 already, days ago. Nathan, let me know if you don't have it.

The last Minitourney PBEM save I got was 3100 BC.
Edit: 3050 BC may have fallen prey to whatever e-mail misfire caused a Euro-PBEM turn not to reach me. I know I was expecting 3050 in this game around the same time.

Add one "don't drop" to your list, Dominae. Arrians opinion is still missing, so far it looks like a draw.

I'll begin the search for a replacement then. I'm not sure how I'm going to convince anyone to play in my stead, though...

Sorry for not responding earlier (I always forget about this thread). I'm a "whatever."

Hello?
If nobody responds to Dominaes replacement request, I'm willing to take his part as well. Screw it, anyway he's the one who sends me the turns, so I simply make two turns instead of one.
Can we now get this game going again?

I got an email from Nathan, but never a save.
Sir Ralph, if you're up for taking my turn, I would be very grateful. There will not be much of a conflict of intterest, since your two civs will be seperate for quite some time now.
Sorry guys, but this one is not fun for me anymore...

There's still another solution: You just lay your civilization in ruins and quit the game. Some day, one of us may find your island and attempt to settle it once more.
How do the others think?

That's the best solution. Let's continue with one less civ. Resending 3050 to Nathan.

It looks like I forgot to enclose the file, and either Dominae didn't e-mail me back to let me know or his message got lost amidst the spam that floods my account. Sorry, everyone. Turn is sent.

The most recent file I have is 3050BC, which is the one I got just recently from Nathan. I've played it, and attempted to commit seppukku (sp?). I'm not sure if the game will allow me, but I'll try next turn (you cannot abandon your last city).
Sent to Sir Ralph.

I did not consider that possibility. It would be a lot easier, if it is in fact possible.
By the way, please resend 610BC, alexman.

3000BC to Arrian. I didn't have this save yet, so at least for me no turn was played twice.

*sigh*
I won't be able to play the save until Sunday, fellas, sorry. SR sent it at 3am my time this morning, and I'm leaving for Vermont (ski trip) immediately after work today. I won't be back until Sunday.
Blah. I'm really sorry - bad timing.

Are we moving to 1.21f?
I know most of us are in other PBEM games where non-US version players can't upgrade, but it's possible to switch back and forth without much hassle, if all of us here have a US version.

I abstain. Till the medieval age, where it would matter (I'm scientific), is it still long to go (at the current pace 10 years, I guess ), so there are not much benefits from upgrading. But if the majority wants to upgrade, let's go ahead.

I'd rather not deal with the hassle of setting up a second installation for the time being. Hopefully, Firaxis will be quick enough with the non-U.S. patches that the itch to upgrade won't get too bad before things reach a point where everyone can upgrade. :crossedfingers:
