Curse this English Tour: Our Shane is injured :(
England went down for their 12th loss out of 12 matches on the tour last night. They have yet to win a game, including in the sub first class matches and fielded a no name team including at least one player from their junior squad
That was fine - we're getting used to pitiful displays from England - except Shane Warne dislocated his shoulder
It could be a career ending injury for one of the greatest bowlers of all time
The nation is in mourning

Shane Warne was due to undergo surgery in Melbourne to determine the extent of his shoulder injury.
The leg-spin genius had to be stretchered from the MCG on Sunday night after he dislocated his right bowling shoulder in a fielding accident, during the one-day win over England at the MCG.
He will be out of action for at least a month, meaning he will definitely miss Australia's last two Ashes Tests.
The shoulder was re-set soon after the incident, but there are fears Warne could miss the World Cup in South Africa early next year if there are secondary problems arising from the dislocation.
Warne, 33, needed a reconstruction of the shoulder four years ago.

Even as an NZer, it would be terrible for cricket if we lost a great bowler in Shane Warne

It's not even worth playing the Poms. It's only going to screw up players before the world cup.

Exactly - we should field a no name side for the rest of tour.
I say bring back Doug Walters
David Hooks smashed them to all parts in a tour match.

I bet anyone could beat this **** side. They really do tarnish the reputation of the game...
And they thought 4 years ago was the low point!

Great, now we've even picked up a few of England's nasty habits. Like our players injuring themselves.

Shame about Warne, but I think when it comes to tarnishing the game the aussies selling "information" to bookies takes teh biscuit.
Oh and England are better than NZ, yes you did alright in the last series you played against them but, you got lucky

In test matches? Perhaps...
In one dayers? Nah...

Shane is a real character
Ask any cricket nation other than Australia to name an Aussie cricketer, most will say "Shane Warne".

I think playing Australia has made England look even worse than they are.
True test will be to see how England do against Sri Lanka.

That's brilliant, how did he manage that? It's not like cricket is exactly a contact sport.

He landed awkwardly diving to stop a ball

It has been insane how strong NSW and Australia A have looked against England. Perhaps they should play them against some district teams
I wonder how Australia's second team would fare in the WC at the moment (not Australia A, but the best of those not in the starting 12).

So he took it on his shoulder instead?
