I hope we can take Berlin and Frankfurt before the end of the war.

I was under the impression that our goal was to overrun ALL of Germany, perhaps I may have been misinformed.
Barring a premature end to the war (probably due to war weariness) we WILL have Berlin and Frankfurt.
But I would like to warn our current government that should we end the war prematurely, we would have left nothing but a sour taste in the mouths of the German people; they will seek revenge, as they are significantly more aggressive of a civilization. They will re-arm, and strike back. The same can be said of the Romans.

So, in other words, you're suggesting that the War to End All Wars will become known as merely "World War I", to be followed by "World War II" when Germany finally loses completely?
hmm.... I may need my Woodrow Wilson avatar for this one...

Though I see how the parallels are quite astounding between the two, that's not what I was suggesting...well hmm.....
I'm simply warning that if we hold back at this moment and sue for peace due to internal issues, we WILL be faced with a Rome and Germany still very pissed off and seeking our destruction, or at the very least the reclamation of their former cities.
Now that they are going towards communist-style governments (a more military-oriented gov. obviously...), this is much more likely.
If we end now, there willbe another conflict with the Axis of Evil in the future, and it may not be at a time of our own choosing, which is the most preferable way to wage wars...that's all I'm saying.

Exactly, and why wait around for them to discover the technology required to build them?

Personally, I think giving us 20 turns or so to work down our war weariness, build up all of our factories, hospitals, and other infrastructure so that we can pump out continuous streams of military units and allowing us to research to tanks and bombers while these idiots switch to communism and can't keep up in tech IS the time of our choosing

I'll be very busy today at work, and tonight I have to play with my band. The Roman/Babylon map will be posted tomorrow... I hope.

I concur, the maps on your sight are much faster to look at than inside Civ III itself on my computer.

One of the best yet! Love the color contrasts!
And of course, the bite taken out of Roman territory.

Aro, regarding the titles on the maps (in yellow on the top left corner): do you draw them by hand with your tablet, or do you use a font? If the latter is correct, can I please have it? (if it's not copyrighted, of course)

Aro, next time load my Urban Railroads mod before looking at the map.
It's really scary, you don't need the colored lines to tell where Apolytonia ends and the other civs begin.
