Correct starting positions

The problem with this sort of map is that Europe and the Middle east gets very, very crowded... and it's difficult for the respective Civ's in those regions to achieve any level of power and influence at all resembling some degree of historical accuracy.

In the meantime, the Aztecs have all of South America to themselves, and can usually become quite disproportionately powerful (this is why some people objected to the inclusion of the "Arabs" in PTW as opposed to perhaps the Mayans or Incans).

This would be true if ALL civilizations were placed on the map. I try to play using Kal-El's map and balance the civs as far as land. I just enjoy playing this way, and will wait to get PTW until I can figure out how to place the civs on a map, or someone else does.

Open the map in the editor, press the space bar, choose a civ, place the starting location, save the file.
