Is US civ3 upgradable using UK ptw?

I live in the UK, but I have an American version of civ3. Can it still be upgraded using the UK PTW Cd?

Please help - I wanna do multiplayer!

AFAIK there is only one version of Civ3 and only one version of the patches for Civ3. My UK PTW works fine with Civ3. The only thing you need to be careful of is that you need the european patch for PTW, not the US version. The patch for PTW is available at www.infogrames.co.uk
