Do you ever get mad at the Tribes
Well do you?
Or does this game not inspire the wrath of the Alpha Centauri game?
I usually find myself cussing out the **** Americans the ******* Babylonians, the ****** English... and all manner of other obscenities in my game.
I also have a personal vendetta against the Russian and Zulus becuase they never keep their treaties so I strike back at the ********!

Sure do! For me it's those #@!$* Japanese! They never seem to want to live in peace, and so I end taking the hole map, except for one city, and launch the spaceship anyway!

Always. At the moment, I'm very pissed at the f***ing English. A few more turns and London will lay in ruins. Maybe the Enlgish empire will be swept by civil war!

Scouse - (1) adjective purtaining to the city or dialect of Liverpool UK; (2) noun abreviation for lobscouse a meat and potato stew.
Git noun a disreputable person.
Hence Scouse Gits disreputable people from Liverpool.

I've always ment to ask you: what does Scouse Git mean? I am now at work so I only have an online english - greek dictionary of questionable quality.
For Scouse I get a translation of «food with a gallete of meat and vegetables». For Git I get nothing and the closest translation is for «gittern» which is translated as «a medieval guitar».
Somehow I think this is wrong except if you are a dish of gallette meat and vegetables that plays a medieval guitar?

How do you pronounce that - skaus or skoos?

Scouse is pronounced with the same vowel sound as "out" so - skouss. The Scouse dialect is ridiculously adenoidal - I'm only a naturalised scouser so I can't begin to pronounce it 'propper like'.
Does this help?

On topic: I always, always hate the Russians, the Mongols, the French, and the Germans. I am merely annoyed by the Indians, the Spanish, the Romans, the Carthaginians, and the Vikings. Whereas my dislike for the Babylonians is mixed with grudging respect, because they are programmed to play the game the way I do.
Off topic: SG, are you aware that the Monkees recorded a song called "Randy Scouse Git"? It was, I believe, the song that played over the closing credits to their TV show. And for the English-slang impaired, "randy" means "horny" means "constantly sexually aroused." And that piece of information is in my brain, while my sister's phone number is something I have to look up every time I call.
