I don't think the USA player remembered to hit CTRL-N.
Right before it is my turn, the USA units start moving all over the map outside of the cities. Someone might want to check this first.

NEWS from Asia:
* In near simultaneous events, several US warships were sunk in the Gulf of Tonkin by Vietnamese airplanes, while another US warship was sunk off the coast of Korea by Chinese airplanes. According to military sources, the warship was belligerantly maneouvering in Chinese waters.
* Chairman El Leon said that sinking in Vietnam of a major US warfleet has been a major blow to the US war initiative and called on the US to understand that they are fighting a war they cannot win. He vowed to continue economic assistance and logistical coordination with the People's Republic of North Vietnam.

EVERYBODY!!!!!
Emugod found an important bug.
All the civs, with the exception of USA, can build railroads!!!!
PLEASE!!!! DON´T DO THAT!!!!
Obviously, solving that problem implies to start the game again... and we don´t want that, right?
So, we´ll have to trust each other. ok?
Please, don´t try to cheat. It´s very easy to notice the railroads
If you have already build some railroads, i urge you to pillage them. please

Ok, ok, I guess I'll go a-pillaging.
In other news, El Paso is a little misplaced in Mexico. It is on the US side of Texas, way on the other side of the country.
At the location where it is now, there is only minor towns in Baja California (Guerrero Negro or Ciudad Constitución are the closest), but Tijuana, which is a huge manufacturing center, is relatively close by. Even if you don't nudge it up a couple of squares, I'd still rename it Tijuana.

Arab League Position:
IRAN
We don´t care what the soviet chairman may think of this, but we´ll make it public.
During private negotiations with the USSR, the soviets threatened that they would invade and nuke the entire muslim world if their demands were not met. Specifically: capture Iran without arab interference.
We know that we may have tried to contact US or NATO for military assistance... but as result of the soviet´s agressive response to our proposals, we believed that a US-Arab pact would lead to WW3.
We don´t want to be responsible for a nuclear holocaust and the end of the human race.
The Arab Alliance decision is that: we won´t intervene in Iran. If US or NATO wish to challenge USSR in the area, they are free to do it.
ETIOPIA
We have more important matters in our agenda that requires our inmediate attention. And one of them is the menace of Etiopia. This rogue state is a threat to our security and we are ready to put an end to this rebel, anti-muslim state.
Please, this is an internal muslim world problem. We´ll take care of it. ok?
SUEZ
The Suez-canal has been nationalized. If foreign navys want to cross the canal, they´ll have to pay a small fee.
We´ll also close the persian gulf.
The Arab League government considers this waters as part of our nation. If you want to sail them, you´ll have to make an official request.

- The USSR in its benevolence has agreed with the Arab League to divide Iran into North and South Iran, with capitals at Teheran and Shiraz respectively. North Iran will be defended by Soviet troops, and Arab troops will defend their Muslim brethren to the south.
- Communist rebels have seized control of Honduras and welcomed Cuban troops to restore order in the country.

USSR:
Monroe doctrine forces us to say it only one time: get out of America! We'll figth any russian movement in our backdoor! Honduras is a independent nation that doesn't reserve a communits goverment. Communism is not the solution for the problems of South and Central America.
In response to all this movement, we hav supported a 'pronunciamiento' on Mexcio, and now the cities of Monterey, El Paso and Mexico (the whole Mexico country) are secure on the hands of a democracy government that will support civil rigths on the country.
We demmand from the Russian goverment to remove all its armies from South/Central America or we'll take measurements. We'll not attack Cuba if URSS retires from the continent.
CHINA
We've conquest the city of Hue in behalf of the South Vietnam republic. However, we have show to the whole world that our power is still unbeatable and we would sign a peace teatry where we will return the city to China in exchange for a permanent Border on Korea and Vietnam.
-------------
BTW, as a side note: I've noticed that I didn't downloaded the new rules.txt. Do you know if they are important? Did they change the movements of the units? Must I replay the turn? I hope Academia can answer it before getting vacations; if not, I'll replay the turn, so NATO please wait to move until we heard something from Academia (if he doesn't answer soon, I'll replay the turn with the new rules..)

* Guided missiles apparently don't have to end their turn i a city/airfield. PROBLEM SOLVED

Ok. All changes improve the units, excep the defense. But I've only attacked, not defended, so I think that I don't need to remove the turn...
What do you think?

Guys:
I´ll be away for 7 days. However, i didn´t ask for a substitute in this PBEM.
I´m really interested in this PBEM; i´m developing a cautious strategy here. I´d really like to mantain control of the country
Could you be patient and wait till my return? Only one week
