Spiffor, I believe that our leader is 'special' in that regard.
I now have this new nightmare: Sgt. Schultz sweeping Ontario in 2004.
btw, who is this Fve Crathva person, trying to insert common sense into the discussion?

Asher: You always complain about the Liberals, Canada and Canadians. Now you claim you're grateful to Canada. Okay, tell us what you're grateful for. Is there anything that you like about your home and native land?

We elected an independant provincally for 8 years.
He was the best MP, but we suffered $$$ wise for it.

I think the point is that he likes Canada, but does not like the direction in which it is going.

Reading this thread is better then watching Canadian Bacon.
I leave the OT forums for a day or two, and what happens? All hell breaks lose.

I like what Canada was based upon, and why it exists, but I can't stand the current governmental systems in the country.
They're outdated, fundamentally flawed, and nobody seems to care.
It's not a contradiction. There is more to a country than its government -- I love Canada and I'm grateful for it, but I absolutely can't stand the federal government.
Fortunately for me I have two choices, and I'm not forced to live under the tyranny of select regions.

No, I meant what politician are you calling Schultz?
Chretien would fit, but he is gone. Come to think
of it, THEY ALL FIT, don't they?
