That wasn't me with the girlfriend.
I used to write a lot in the fiction forum with the new Chronicles of Future History and there were all those science forum posts... and after the game came out there were things like the unit graphics thread I started after a discussion with Jason from Beyond AC where the Firaxis artist came in and said it was interesting and they were reading and all the discussions about the game before there was any information about it...
Mostly there wasn't any game related stuff to talk about though.

I was going to start helping Jason out with Beyond AC but then this whole merger thing happened, events overtook me. Plus the game was really crap.

Might you have been lying at the time?
Maybe it was that guy you played tag with. I grouped you two together for a while.

I might have been, or that story is a gross distortion or it was Venom. Dunno. That's like 4 and a half years ago.

Which is probably why he was so interested in threads about Lara Croft's breats.

I'm pretty sure I was only 13 at that time. That was before I started posting on a 486 I set up in my room so I could post even after parents went to sleep. I had set it up on my birthday, so I am pretty sure that was when I was 13.

I think the issue with your election, Mike, was the large number of double logins voting for you.

That's unfair. It was genuine posters who post both here and at Counterglow mainly. There was no cheating involved. That would have missed the point.

Sadly they were mostly real people, although one or two might have been DLs from the real DL makers.

Own goal. Gaskmaske was CGB/Vincent/all his other names. Or was spartak gasmake? I can never remember I hate them all equally so they blend together.

For a while Vincent would change his username every 40 days or however long it was. He was CGB Spender, Gasmaske, Dancing with MikeH... Oh, I can't remember them all. Initially he was Chimneydick I think.

ooh! the big scary Ming! Let them complain, it's not his site or even his hall of fame.
And I want to complain about some 2002 newbie getting the same amount of vote pull as I do!
so change the rules!
