Does anyone know of a WWII scenario, like in Civ 2, that was the best scenario ever.

Check Gram's mod list in the Civ3-Files forum. There are a couple, I don't think you can play as axis in any of them though if that's what you were thinking of.

Wait, you're not referring to the one that came with the original, are you?
Actually, the closest to a WWII scenario for Civ III is this: http://apolyton.net/dir/index.php?si...ts=3908&cat=51
Haven't played it, but it's the closest I could find.

i'm making a WW2 world scenario for PTW, uses a massive worldmap and you can play as any body!
I'm also making a Fartherland scenario, which is kinda the same but all of the civs are superpower sized!

I like the simplicity of the original civ2 ww2 scenario. Playing the AI palyers was very easy, even on Deity...but playing against human players it was very tough...especially playing as Axis vs Allies + Russians.

I have to disagree with you here: imo Rome.scn was better then WWII.scn.

That's right: replay the Normandy invasion or the Battle of Britain, crossing over the Russian steppes, and so on. That's fun but I prefer The Dawn of Roma. Fight with Chariots in Anatolia and huge battles between Seleucid WarElephants and Ptolemean Archers, and so on.

I thought following Alexander's foot steps in that scenario on Alexander the great and his companions was the best... hard as **** too
