The time has come, the VP said, to speak of many things.
Of Presidents and Cabinets, and whether we shall win...

Its the time of the month to speak up and declare your raw ambition, er "sense of Noble self-sacrifice and Public Duty",

for some Cabinet position or another.

The floor will be open for self-nominations until I put up the election polls on Friday 27th.

I will not be running for any office this time. I need a break

I won't be running for anything this month since I'm at home, but look for me to make yet another presidential bid in february.

i suggest we combine minister of imperial expansion with minister of war since we don't have a lot of people running

I agree. Let us do this. We might also want to combine trade and city planner, depending on what people are willing to do.

I have some significant business travel in January (15th - 20th), but if that's no bar, I'll do my part. Seems like the Trade Ministry needs help...

Whatever our little civ needs, I'll try to contribute.

I have a new job from January 1

However I will be travelling extensively and it means I will only be able to be an infrequent visitor from this point on. As a result I am not going to be cabinet material

Which isn't quite so disheartening as it might have been, as I didn't consider myself cabinet material to start with.

Well, I have to post the election polls now, and it seems we have 4 unopposed candidates for open positions. I'll be out of touch (home computer equipment failure) after posting these (until Tuesday morning EST US). Anything that comes up until then, you will all have to work out your selves...

Sorry, I'm too busy.
I was not able to visit our DG site during 12 days !.
I'll continue to participate... from time to time !
