Odd screen res
I just updated the drivers vor my Voodoo3 2000, and installed DirectX 7.0a. I run Windows at a res of 960x720 and have never experienced problems in the past.
Now SMAC (or AX at least) is running at some totally different res that's not even in the same aspect ratio - everything is compressed top to bottom. Anyone know of this bug and/or how to fix it?

SMAC generally runs in either 800x600 or 1024x768, so I would advise changing to those resolutions.

Ok, but probably only temporarily. 1024 doesn't work well on a 15", and 800 won't hold all my desktop icons...

Actually, that can't be it. As I said, I haven't had any trouble previously, and my Windows res hasn't changed. Unfortunately, experimentation shows my monitor can't handle 1024 anyway. Ho hum.

Curioser and curiouser! My monitor apparently will run at 1024, and it's perfectly visible. Problem solved.
